How to make an appointment

Call 01387 268739 and speak to the receptionist.

On your visit

When you attend for an appointment, please bring with you a list of any medication you are taking as we update our records accordingly, and take this into account when giving treatment and so that we can look after your health while you are in the surgery.  

Appointments

A reminder text message will be sent out 2 days before your appointment is due.  We will also send you a reminder when your next check up is due.  

Missed Appointments

If you are not able to keep your appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours’ is given, under NHS regulations we are able to recover a fee for the broken appointment. A charge of £1 per  minute may be made.

Dental Emergency Out of Hours Cover

Should you have a dental emergency outside of normal practice hours, please phone the practice and follow the instructions on the answering machine. This will enable you to contact NHS24 on 111. During normal practice hours we endeavour to see our registered patients in accordance with our triage system.

Regular Check-ups

Please ensure that you have regular check ups. (NHS recommend every 6 moths) It is important even if you think there is nothing wrong with your teeth. No one should leave this longer than one year and your dentist may well recommend a shorter time interval.

Cosmetic Treatments

We do offer cosmetic treatment at the practice. Please talk to your dentist to discuss any questions you may have. For example Tooth whitening Or white fillings or veneers.
